Dad- the guy who has been there for you from the beginning, whether it's playing catch or comforting you in your time of need. Father's Day is the time of year we acknowledge Dad and show our gratitude. Below is a sample of some fatherly role models. You might want to consider these when choosing baby names for your baby.

Cliff Huxtable of TV's The Cosby show was America's favorite dad from 1984-1992. Unfortunately due to recent events, however, Bill Cosby's treatment of women off-screen has sullied his warm and comfy dad-like reputation.

Leave it to Ward Cleaver when you want a dad who is fair, strong and also has a sense of humor. This 1950's dad from the TV show Leave it to Beaver had everything! Even a wife who vacuumed in pearls. Lucky guy!

Lucius Lyon is the ruthless patriarch of the TV series Empire. Played expertly by Terrence Howard, Lucius comes up from the streets to form the most successful Hip Hop record label in the country. He must decide which among his three sons will inherit the Empire!

Frank Zappa made headlines twice when he named his children Dweezil and Moon Unit. Although Dweezil's birth name is Ian Donald Calvin Euclid Zappa. The story told was that the hospital where he was born refused to register the name "Dweezil" so Frank just listed a bunch of musician friends he knew and the boy was called "Dweezil" from infanthood. Frank also has two other children, a girl named Diva and a boy Ahmet. Legendary singer and actor Frank Sinatra fathered three children of his own, Frank Jr., Nancy, and Tina.
