Hayden Panettiere made headlines at Monday’s Emmy Awards, but it wasn’t for her show. The Nashville actress revealed, during a red carpet interview with E! News‘ Giuliana Rancic, that she and fiancé Wladimir Klitschko are expecting a daughter! She also ‘fessed up to her pregnancy cravings (chicken noodle soup) and that baby girl’s nursery is in the works, but she didn’t shared any more details on when their daughter is expected to make her big debut.
Josh Charles has exited The Good Wife just in time for an even more exciting new role: good dad! The actor and his wife Sophie Flack are expecting their first baby. According to People, the couple know if baby-to-be is going to be a son or a daughter, but they’re keeping that info to themselves for now. Since baby is expected to arrive this winter, we should find out soon enough!
There’s another boy in the Fall Out Boy lineup! Bassist Pete Wentz and his girlfriend Meagan Camper have welcomed their first baby together. Son Saint Lazslo arrived on August 20th. Saint is the first baby for the couple, but the second child for Wentz, who is dad to 5-year-old son Bronx with ex-wife Ashlee Simpson.
There’s a distinctly rosy glow around Carson Daly‘s home these days! The Voice host and his fiancée Siri Pinter have welcomed their third child, another daughter. London Rose arrived August 20th. Daly shared the news via his Instagram account by posting a sweet picture of the banner older siblings Etta Jones (almost 2) and Jackson James (5) obviously helped make to welcome their newest sibling.
“Home is where the family is,” he captioned the picture of London beneath the Welcome Home banner, “We are grateful to God. Thank you all for the warm wishes and kind words. We appreciate them and you! Party time! #LondonsHome.”
It’s a girls’ world for the Foo Fighters‘ Dave Grohl. The musician and his wife Jordyn Blum have welcomed their third baby and third daughter! Ophelia Saint arrived on August 1st. Ophelia has two big sisters to look up to: 8-year-old Violet Maye and 5-year-old Harper Willow.
While Ophelia’s learning the ropes, Grohl will be keeping busy with lots of additional projects! The Foo Fighters’ are kicking off a few tour dates in September, and their latest album, Sonic Highways, is set to release on November 10th.
Forget zombie slaying — Milla Jovovich has a different kind of action in her future! The actress recently announced that she and husband Paul W.S. Anderson are expecting their second baby. Jovovich shared the happy news via her Facebook page, although her announcement may have disappointed some die-hard Resident Evil fans.
“So after a lot of discussion, we thought it would be in everyone’s best interest to wait till the baby is born before we set out to try to tackle an RE movie,” she shared. “Between the stunt work and what will become my ever-expanding belly, we didn’t think pregnancy and zombie killing are the best combo! Lol!”
One fan who probably won’t be a bit disappointed is the couple’s 6-year-old daughter, Ever Gabo. She may even help mom eat the “endless supply of cupcakes” Jovovich threatened in her Facebook announcement!
There’s another Bale baby in the world! Christian Bale and his wife Sibi have welcomed their second baby, a son. Beyond those few details, though, the couple have kept the rest of their happy news to themselves. Given their track record (the couple are also parents to a 9-year-old daughter, whose name has never been shared), it’ll be a while before they share more. We probably won’t have to wait that long, though, before Bale himself is back in the spotlight: his next project, Exodus: Gods and Kings, is scheduled for release in December.
Christina Aguilera won’t be the only one hitting the high notes in her home for a while … the singer and her fiancé Matt Rutler have welcomed their first baby together. Their daughter was born yesterday, August 16th. Baby girl, whose name hasn’t yet been announced, is the first for the couple, but the second for Aguilera, who is also mom to 6-year-old Max from her previous marriage.
LeBron James is ready for his next baby to get here! The Cleveland Cavaliers player and his wife Savannah are expecting their third … and it sounds as if dad is almost as ready as mom for baby girl to make her appearance. James recently shared a sweet picture of he and Savannah on vacation captioned, “Mykonos Greece is spectacular! Push gift to my wife @mrs_savannahrj! Zhuri hurry up and get here so you daddy and 2 brothers can annoy you! Lol.” Those two big brothers would be LeBron James Jr. (8) and Bryce Maximus (6).
Today cohost Savannah Guthrie made news of her own today: she’s a mom! Guthrie and her husband Michael Feldman welcomed their first baby — daughter Vale Guthrie Feldman — August 13th. Guthrie shared her happy news with her Today team (who then followed up with an on-air announcement), as well as via her Twitter feed, sharing, “Every new parent must want to shout their happy news to the world. So lucky we got to do it on @TODAYshow! We are bursting with joy.” Mom and Dad may have been bursting, but Guthrie was quick to point out that Vale was taking it all in stride. “Vale, on the other, hand,” she Tweeted, “slept through the whole thing.”
