Daphne Oz revealed her newborn son’s name in a home video she shared on Facebook.  In the video, Daphne told fans that the baby boy was named Jovan Jovanovic Jr., explaining, “My husband is Serbian…and we named him after his daddy and we’re calling him John John.”

She described John John as “so sweet” and added, “He just sleeps and eats and sleeps and eats.”  As for any potential sibling rivalry between the new arrival and her daughter Philomena, Daphne appears to be in the clear. The Chew host said, “She [Philomena] thinks he’s all hers. She’s just constantly trying to kiss him.”

On Sunday the proud mom posted her first photo of the little boy to Instagram. The sweet shot showed him lovingly cradled in his mother’s arms. Along with the photo, she wrote: “This little man is so loved!! all 8lbs 6oz and 21 inches of him came into the world on Wednesday afternoon, and I can’t remember life before then. We’ve been trying to soak up every moment, but wanted to quickly drop in and say THANK YOU for all of your incredibly sweet notes and congratulations.”

Her bun finished baking!  The Chew co-host Daphne Oz and her husband, John Jovanovic, have welcomed their second child!  The bouncing baby boy was born on October 21st, weighing in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces and measuring 21 inches long.  He joins big sister Philomena Bijou, 20 months.

Daphne surprised her co-hosts and live studio audience with her pregnancy announcement back in April, saying: “We are so excited to be adding another little bundle of fun to our family…I know Philo is going to be a great big sister and it will be a busy fall!”

Following news of the birth, her The Chew co-hosts, Carla Hall, Mario Batali, Michael Symon, and Clinton Kelly, posted a congratulatory message on Twitter.  The short video said, “Congratulations, Daphne! We are all so happy for you. And we cannot wait to meet the new little man. Send our love to Philo and John – and send us lots of photos!” Daphne is currently on maternity leave and will return to the show early next year.
