It’s a bluesy affair for Melissa Rycroft and husband Tye Strickland! In an interview with Us Weekly, the Dancing With the All-Stars season 15 winner announced that the couple are expecting a son this time around! Rycroft and Strickland are already parents to 2-year-old daughter Ava. Ava actually got to do the honors of the reveal: she bit into cupcakes that had been filled with blue icing to let family know the gender of baby-on-the-way.

It’s been a busy year for former Dancing with the Stars and Bachelor contestant Melissa Rycroft. Not only did she get engaged and married to insurance agent Tye Strickland, but she started a new job and is now expecting her first child!
“Apparently Tye and I wanted to see how many life-changing events we could fit into one calendar year,” Rycroft, 27, joked to Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts this morning.
Rycroft is due in February.
