The path to parenthood hasn’t been an easy one for singer Jewel and her bull-riding husband, Ty Murray. After two years of struggling to conceive, the couple shared their happy news in January. In March, at five months, Jewel was involved in an auto accident. Fortunately, mom and baby were fine, and hopefully now that Kase Townes Murray is here, life will be smooth sailing for the new trio! Kase was born July 11th and weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces.
Singer, songwriter Jewel and her rodeo-star husband, Ty Murray, are all blue about their baby news, but only because they’re expecting a boy! No names for their summer arrival have been announced yet.
Singer, songwriter, actress and reality TV star Jewel is adding yet another role to her resume: mom! The singer recently announced that she and her husband, rodeo star Ty Murray, are expecting their first child. Jewel, who’s currently in her second trimester, is cohosting the upcoming show Going Platinum.
While Jewel‘s chances at Dancing with the Stars may have been dashed by an injury, she may soon face another challenge–motherhood. The singer’s husband, Ty Murray, said the couple is looking forward to starting a family–sooner, rather than later. When asked about his wife making a comeback on the show, Murray told E! “we’ll see what the future holds, but it’ll be hard to do it if her belly is out to here!” The couple hope for two children–ideally, one boy and one girl.
