NFL Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has announced the arrival of his first child with his fiancée, Brittany Matthews!
The quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs took to Instagram today to share that he welcomed his daughter yesterday. Patrick and Brittany chose the name Sterling Skye Mahomes for her. Aside from sharing her name in the caption, the photo showed Patrick and Brittany holding their daughter’s hand near Brittany’s chest, where she wore a diamond necklace that spelled out the name Sterling. How precious!
The exciting news comes less than a day after Brittany shared stunning images from her maternity shoot, where she and Patrick were dressed to the nines in elegant attire. Brittany’s gowns were simply magnificent!
Patrick, who recently played in this year’s Superbowl, announced in September that he and Brittany were expecting. The news came just a few weeks after he proposed to Brittany. He proposed on the same day he as his Superbowl ring ceremony. When Brittany posted about the engagement on her Instagram page, she wrote, “On a day that was meant to celebrate you, you turned it into celebrating us. It’s always us, it’s always you and me. The words you looked into my eyes and said to me at this moment, will NEVER leave my mind! You made this day perfect, you took my entire breath away and I could not have imagined anything better. I love you, forever and always! Cheers to spending our lifetime together and an inseparable bond.”
