YouTuber, author, and businesswoman Zoë Sugg took to Instagram to share that she and her long-time boyfriend, Alfie Deyes, are expecting their first child together.
Zoë posted a video set to the song Somewhere Over The Rainbow / What A Wonderful World by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole that featured a video collage of the YouTuber showing off her growing baby bump, getting a sonogram, and more shots of her throughout the beginning of her pregnancy. She captioned the video, “We’re super excited to share with you, that our baby girl will be joining us in September.”
Alfie posted a video with the same caption to his Instagram page. In the video, set to Bon Iver’s Beach Baby, Zoë sits on Alfie’s lap and they look through sonogram pictures of their little one. Both Zoë and Alfie are all smiles from ear to ear, clearly elated about the prospect of becoming parents.
Zoë, who started her journey on YouTube in 2009 and has nearly 5 million subscribers, has been dating Alfie since 2012. While the couple has no plans to become engaged, they have eluded to marriage in the past. In one video, the Zoella founder shared that she thinks Alfie will have the perfect proposal up his sleeve. She said, “I 100% know that you will plan [the proposal]…and you’ll do it really nicely.”
