Country music star Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins, each took to Instagram late last night to announce the arrival of their third daughter together!
The couple have chosen the beautiful name of Lennon Love for their newborn girl. The couple revealed that Lennon was born on Monday, February 10th at 8:30AM. Both Thomas and Lauren shared sweet pictures of their family loving on the new addition.
Lennon joins the Akins family with two older sisters: Willa Gray and Ada James. Both girls looked absolutely delighted to have a new baby sister!
Thomas and Lauren have a love story that could easily compete with a storybook romance. They first met in first grade in Valdosta, Georgia. They briefly dated in their teens, but eventually went their separate ways, though they remained friends. They couldn’t keep their love for each other aside, though. They reconnected and dated for six months before getting engaged. In 2012, the couple married.
They adopted their first daughter, Willa Gray from Uganda, bringing her home in 2017. Throughout the long adoption process, the couple discovered they were expecting! Lauren and Thomas welcomed Willa home just three months before giving birth to their second daughter, Ada James in August 2017.
