Bekah Martinez from The Bachelor and her boyfriend Grayston Leonard have welcomed their second baby! The new addition arrives just 16 months after their first child was born.
The couple made the announcement in an Instagram post with photos showing their newborn son and Martinez during her water birth at home with the caption, “He’s. HERE. Born blissfully in our living room at 2:52am, June 19th. 7lbs, 8oz. No name yet; suggestions welcome 🙂 Birth story coming soon.”
Their baby boy joins 16-month-old sister Ruth Ray De La Luz. A few days after Ruth was born, Martinez made an Instagram post explaining that her daughter’s name honored Leonard’s grandmother and Martinez’s father.
The pair went public with their relationship in February 2018 when Martinez wanted to shut down rumors about her appearing on Bachelor in Paradise. A few months later in May 2018 they found themselves unexpectedly pregnant. On her podcast Chatty Broads, Bekah discussed how stressful going through a life altering shift with someone you barely know was, but said “All that changed the moment Ruth was born. Truly. I know it’s a cliche, but love blossomed so deeply between us the moment she took her first breath. That very night we danced together in the living room while she slept.”
Bekah Martinez was a contestant on the 22nd season of The Bachelor in 2018 and was eliminated in week 7. Her boyfriend Grayston Leonard is the founder of a rock-climbing gym.
