Tyra Banks’ life just got a little more “fab!” The model announced today that she and her boyfriend, Erik Asla, welcomed a son named York Banks Asla via surrogate!

She shared the news with her Instagram followers by posting a photo of the instantly recognizable striped baby hospital cap.

The author and businesswoman wrote, ” The best present we worked and prayed so hard for it finally here. He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.”

While news of the impending arrival was kept secret, Tyra had been very vocal about her struggles to conceive and admitted to struggling through several failed IVF procedures on her recently canceled show FABLife.
