Earlier today, the news broke that actress Scarlett Johansson and comedian Colin Jost welcomed their first child together. Hours later, the Saturday Night Live star addressed the news and shared a select few details on his newborn.
Colin shared two text-based images as a carousel post on his Instagram channel addressing the news. “Ok ok we had a baby,” he wrote before revealing that the couple is the proud parents of a baby boy! They have chosen to name their son Cosmo, an English name that means “Order.” Colin shared that he and Scarlett “love him very much.”
To end his post, he issued a plea for privacy. “Privacy would be greatly appreciated.” The comedian also joked by adding “For all inquiries, please contact our publicist @chethinks,” who is Colin’s co-anchor Michael Che on his “Weekend Update” segment on Saturday Night Live. Michael played along with Colin’s joke by adding “Cosmo’s publicist” to his Instagram bio.
