Singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor has announced the arrival of her first child with her husband, actor Daryl Sabara.
Meghan shared the news that today, Valentine’s Day, was her baby boy’s due date but that he made his arrival on Monday, February 8th! “We are SO IN LOVE,” she wrote, sharing her and Daryl’s sentiments towards their newborn. The musician also shared her son’s name: Riley!
Daryl announced Riley’s birth on his Instagram page as well. He shared further details of his son’s birth. Riley was 7lbs 8oz at birth. Daryl also shared a touching message to his wife. “You are my forever Valentine and I’m so beyond grateful for you bringing our son into the world.”
Meghan and Daryl announced in early October of last year that they were expecting their first child. Meghan shared the news on the Hoda and Jenna segment of The TODAY Show while promoting her Christmas album. A few weeks later during her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Meghan revealed that she was having a boy!
Meghan and Daryl, famous for his role in Spy Kids, dated for two years before typing the knot in December of 2018 in an intimate backyard ceremony.
