Actress and singer Mandy Moore took to Instagram to announce that she is going to become a mother! The This Is Us star is expecting her first child with her husband and fellow musician Taylor Goldsmith.
Pregnancy wasn’t the only exciting news Mandy had to share. She also revealed that her first child will be a boy! “Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021,” Mandy captioned her announcement photo. Mandy shared a series of black and white images featuring her and Taylor cradling Mandy’s growing baby bump.
Taylor shared a similar post to his own Instagram page to reveal the news.
Mandy and Taylor met in 2015 in a sweet way perfect for the digital age (and it’s the perfect story to relate to their child one day). Mandy posted a photo of a Dawes album, Taylor’s band, on Instagram. Taylor sent her a message from the band’s page to say thanks and the two ended up emailing back and forth. The rest is history!
Taylor popped the question in September 2017 with a gorgeous custom Irene Neuwirth ring featuring a round-cut diamond on a rose gold band. They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Mandy’s home in Pasadena, CA in November 2018. It was a quaint backyard ceremony that was exactly the type of event the couple, who tend to keep very private about their lives, wanted.
