Actor Josh Brolin and his wife, model Kathryn Brolin, have announced the arrival of their second child together!
The couple welcomed a baby girl on the evening of Christmas Day! They shared that she was born at 6:20 pm on December 25th. Josh and Kathryn have chosen to name their daughter Chapel Grace Brolin. How precious!
Josh reshared Kathryn’s post to his own Instagram page and added a sweet message regarding the name of his fourth child. “Everywhere we have traveled the one place Kathryn and I always found a great solace in were chapels. Not being particularly religious but a God feeling has heavily inundated our lives and chapels have always been sanctuaries where we felt connectedly free to gives thanks. Chapel Grace is, to us, a manifestation of that celestial feeling that was always felt as we meandered and knelt.” What a beautiful and intimate meaning to Chapel’s name!
Chapel Grace arrived six days after her due date. Kathryn shared with her Instagram audience that she was still pregnant post-due date while waiting for her little one to arrive.
Josh and Kathryn welcomed their first child, Westlyn Reign, in 2018. Josh has two adult children from his previous marriage to Alice Adair, daughter, 26-year-old Eden, and a son, 32-year-old Trevor.
Josh and Kathryn began dating in March of 2013. Two years later in May of 2015, the couple announced their engagement. They celebrated becoming engaged with a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In September 2016, the couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Cashiers, North Carolina.
