Josh and Anna Duggar of Counting On fame have announced the arrival of their sixth child together. The couple welcomed a daughter just in time for Thanksgiving.
Anna shared the first photo of her daughter on Instagram last night and revealed the couple has chosen to name her Maryella Hope. Such a cute name! Anna gave birth on the morning of 11/27. She shared that her daughter “e arrived one day ahead of Thanksgiving Day 2019 and a great reminder to be grateful for all God has done for us! We are so excited and thankful to God for His special blessing giving us this precious, happy & healthy baby girl!”
Maryella joins quite a big family and continues the family theme of “M” first names. She also evens out the clan as she becomes the third girl, joining sisters Meredith and Mackynzie, to match her three older brothers, Michael, Marcus, and Mason.
Josh and Anna met in 2006 at a Christian homeschooling convention. Two years later, they were married at the Buford Grove Baptist Church in Hilliard, Florida. This past September, to celebrate 11 years together, Anna posted a sweet image on Instagram, saying “The joys we’ve experienced together have far surpassed the shadows of sorrow we’ve walked through. Through it all, God’s kindness and grace has sustained us. I am thankful for the 7 children He has given us together (5 here/1 in heaven/1 due in Nov)!”
