Actress Jessie Cave, known for portraying the role of Lavender Brown in the final three installments of the Harry Potter series, has given birth to her third child with her husband, comedian Alfie Brown.
Jessie gave birth to a baby boy and announced that she and Alfie have chosen to name him Abraham “Bam” Benjamin. Abraham is the actress’s second son. Her oldest child is a boy named Donnie, who is 6, and she has a daughter named Margot, who is 4.
Jessie openly detailed her birth journey in her announcement on Instagram. “Our baby boy was born just 40 mins after my waters were broken. Slightly extreme but so were his kicks throughout the pregnancy!” The Harry Potter star went on to detail the difficulties she faced with her third birth. “This has been a very different experience to my first two births… much more humbling, terrifying, and out of my control. We are currently in the neonatal unit but he’s a strong boy and it’s the safest place for him right now. The midwives (Magda & Daisy) and the doctors and neonatal nurses have been amazing (our first one to welcome us into the ward was named Rosaria and she was extremely comforting).”
Jessie recognized the difficult feeling of seeing your newborn taken to the neonatal unit. “Thank you to Alfie for being so wonderful (again) and taking this picture in the seconds after he was born and just moments before he was wheeled away out of our arms… honestly one of the hardest moments of my life…. hopefully he will be with us soon and it will be even more perfect.”
We wish little Abraham well and hope he is able to be released from neonatal care soon. Congratulations to Jessie and Alfie on the birth of their baby boy. We wish them all the best!
