Singer Christina Perri has shared the heartwarming news that she is expecting her second child. The news comes just six months after the “Jar of Hearts” singer revealed she had suffered a miscarriage.
Christina announced the news on Instagram with a series of photos featuring her 2-year-old daughter Carmella. Carmella wore a shirt that had a rainbow on it and said “Big Sister to be” while running around on the beach. She had a huge smile on her face in every photo. She is clearly looking forward to becoming a big sister!
Today, Christina shared an IGTV video where she and her husband, Paul Costabile, TV entertainment reporter, announced the news to Carmella. She was elated to hear the news!
In January, Christina posted a message on her Instagram that she had suffered a miscarriage. Her baby was 11 weeks old and she and Paul were just one week away from revealing the news.
Her final comments at the end of the message were ones of hope. “I am so sad but not discouraged. When the time is right we will try again.” We’re so happy that this couple’s dreams came true and they are able to now welcome new life into this world and grow their family. We wish them lots of love as they prepare for the arrival of their new bundle of joy.
