The Vampire Diaries star Candice King, née Accola, has announced the arrival of her second child with her husband, Joe King.
Candice is the proud mother of a baby girl! She shared a picture of her holding her daughter’s hand and revealed that she arrived last week on December 1st, 2020. “Last week our baby girl flew into the world and into our hearts.” The Originals star also shared the name that she and Joe chose for their little one: Josephine June King. What a precious name! The name “Josephine” is a French name that means “God will increase.”
“The Fray” guitarist posted an announcement to his Instagram page that gives us a glimpse of his newborn daughter. He shared a picture of him holding Josephine while she was wrapped in a pink swaddle. He wrote in his caption, “It is now one of the best years of my life, truly grateful to welcome our Josephine June King, born Dec 1st, 2020. I’m also very proud she looks just like her momma @candiceking who is a warrior woman goddess, I’m lucky to create this perfect love with you.”
Josephine makes daughter number 2 for Candice and daughter number 4 for Joe! Candice and Joe welcomed their first daughter together in 2016. Her name is Florence May. Joe has two daughters from a previous marriage, Elise and Ava.
Candice and Joe met at a Super Bowl event in February 2012. The couple became engaged in May of 2013 and tied the knot the following year in New Orleans. They’ve certainly grown quite a lovely family! We wish them all the best as they settle in to become parents to a new baby girl.
