You could say he’s “Hook”‘d around her little finger! Blues Traveler lead singer John Popper and his wife, Jordan Auleb, welcomed their first child, a daughter, on November 23rd.
The proud parents named their little girl Eloise Ann Popper after the title character in the popular children’s series and her middle name honors her great-grandmother. Eloise weighed 8 lbs., 4 oz. at birth and measured 21 inches long.
Popper told People magazine, “The first name is after Jordan’s favorite childhood book – she spent a lot of time as a child herself at The Plaza sipping cocoa. It’s where I proposed.” The couple announced their pregnancy – and engagement! – in April of this year.
Popper’s Blues Traveler bandmates took to Instagram with a congratulatory message for the new family, writing: “Baby Popper is here! Congratulations to [Jordan] and Papa John! Watch out little Eloise, we’re going to spoil the hell out of you! #uncles.”
