Blue Bloods actress Marisa Ramirez has welcomed her first child, a daughter named Violet Rae.

The new mom took to Twitter to share a photo of Violet with her followers. “She’s here!! Little Miss Violet Rae born on Sunday May29th!!” the actress gushed, “She’s so happy and healthy and we are so in love!!!”

Ramirez revealed to People that while the pregnancy was not planned, it was a “happy surprise.” The actress has not revealed who Violet’s father is; her marriage to Nathan Lavezoli ended in 2011.

Nevertheless, Ramirez has lots of support from her family, friends, and co-stars.  She told People, “It gives me such a warm and fuzzy feeling knowing that my Blue Bloods family is there to help me transition into this new chapter of my life.”
