Bindi Irwin, daughter of the late Steve Irwin, has revealed the gender of her first child with her husband Chandler Powell!
The conservationist revealed the news in a very on-trend fashion for her! She posted a picture of herself and Chandler kneeling next to a tortoise. Chandler held up a sonogram picture as they were all surrounded by pink flowers. It’s a girl! “Baby girl, you are our world,” Bindi wrote in her caption.
Sitting beside a tortoise wasn’t just a fun way to announce the birth, there was actually some great meaning behind it! “Our beautiful daughter is now about the same size as a hatchling Aldabra tortoise and is as healthy as can be.” That definitely adds an exciting element to the social media trend of comparing your growing baby’s size to an animal!
The late Crocodile Hunter’s daughter announced the news that she and Chandler were expecting early last month. “Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021,” Bindi announced.
