Big news for singer Billy Joel – he’s expecting his third child! The “Piano Man” crooner and wife Alexis Roderick are expecting a baby “next month” he recently told Belfast Telegraph reporter reporter Barry Egan during an interview.
The couple have a two-year-old daughter, Della Rose, who Billy noted: “This one is pretty good. She sleeps through the night.” He added, “I hope the next one will.”
Of fatherhood, Billy commented: “I hang out with her and watch her little wheels spin. And she’s a hoot. She’s a funny kid. She loves to laugh. I like to make her laugh.”
Last month, during an interview with Harry Connick Jr., Billy said his daughter has an interesting way to wake him up, explaining: “She comes in every morning and throws my shorts on the bed and says ‘Get out of bed, Daddy.’”
Billy and Alexis were married in 2015; he has a daughter, Alexa Ray, with ex-wife Christie Brinkley.
