A new production is underway for actor Johnny Galecki. Just days after wrapping the series finale of the decade-long hit show Big Bang Theory, Galecki announced that he and his girlfriend, Alaina Meyer, are expecting their first child together.
The actor took to Instagram with the happy news, writing “We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we will soon be welcoming a little one into this crazy and wonderful world. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this celebratory time for us and our families. There truly is love out there for all. We hope ours is the ember of yours as we feel yours is the ember of ours.”
Galecki and Meyer, who differ in age by 22 years, made their red carpet debut as a couple in November of 2018 at the People’s Choice Awards. Galecki had previously dated his BBT co-star Kaley Cuoco, but the couple separated amicably in 2009. Cuoco married professional equestrian Karl Cook in July of 2018.
