Lopez family, Party of 5! Actor and host Mario Lopez took to Instagram this afternoon to announce the birth of his third child with wife and Broadway dancer Courtney Mazza. Lopez shared that his wife “came through like a Champ,” during the birth and that she and their little baby boy are doing great.
Back in January, Lopez announced that he and his wife were expecting a new baby with an adorable video featuring their daughter, Gia, and son, Dominic. So, what did this gorgeous celebrity couple choose to name their third child? They named their healthy, beautiful baby boy Santino Rafael Lopez! Such a strong name for this handsome guy!
Back in April, Lopez shared with US Weekly that Gia and Dominic were fighting over what to name their newest addition. Mom and Dad sure had some great contenders to choose from! It seems the little Lopez’s were eager to welcome their baby brother into the world and are sure to make great older siblings.
Mario and Courtney are one of those rare celebrity couples who have made their relationship strong and lasting! They first met while starring in A Chorus Line on Broadway and began dating in September of 2008.
After welcoming their first child, daughter Gia, in 2010, Mario waited just over a year before proposing to Courtney. On New Year’s weekend in 2011, he popped the question in Ixtapa, Mexico. After just under a year engagement, the couple exchanged their vows on December 1st, 2012 in Punta Mita, Mexico. Mazza was simply stunning in two custom Ines Disanto gowns. She wore one down the aisle to meet Lopez and another during the reception that was perfect for dancing the night away.
It appears this couple was made to last and build a beautiful family together. Congratulations to the Lopez family!
