I am honored to be featured on the cover of @incmagazine’s female founders issue and to be the first visibly pregnant CEO on the cover of a business magazine. It is amazing to be featured on this list alongside incredible trailblazers and friends like @shanlynm @nicolegibbonsstyle @whitney @jennifer @jenniferyael @lepitts and more. Check out @youfoundchristine’s story on @the.wing’s growth over the past three years and our future plans, which include our first conference for members + non-members, The Wing’s #StrictlyBusiness, and how we’re developing new definitions of what Wing membership will be. I am humbled by what we all go through together collectively to change the ratio – and how when we gather and support one another, we go further, faster. 💛 photo by @hollyandres!

Audrey is shown on the cover of Inc Magazine’s Female Founders issue cradling her baby bump. It’s a powerful image that speaks volumes about the climate of business for women, especially working mothers. It’s a strong message that says women do not have to sacrifice their careers for motherhood. Gelman wanted to show other mothers that it is possible to simultaneously run a business and start a family.

Audrey co-founded The Wing in October of 2016. At the time, co-working spaces were booming and the trend has only continued to grow over the years. Since its inception, the company has since grown to 10,000 members and raised $117.5 million in venture-capital funding. The co-working space has everything a working mother needs including pump rooms, beauty products, and a women-focused lending library.

It’s incredible to see this milestone broken and is a huge step for working mothers. Thank you for Audrey for being an inspiration!
