Amy Schumer is a brand new mom! The comedian and actress took to Instagram to share the happy news with a tender photo of the new family of three.
In a humorous nod to the worldwide attention commanded by the news of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new baby, she wrote, “10:55 pm last night, our royal baby was born.”
This is the first son for Amy and her husband, Chris Fischer, who married in 2018. Schumer was very open about her struggle with hyperemesis gravidarum, a pregnancy condition that causes severe nausea. She incorporated her pregnancy into a recent Netflix comedy special called Growing.
No word yet on the baby boy’s name.
