Actress Jessica Szohr, most notably known for portraying the role of Vanessa Abrams in the Gossip Girl TV series, has welcomed her first child into the world!

Jessica and her boyfriend, professional hockey player Brad Richardson, are the proud parents of a baby girl. Their daughter arrived on January 11th. Jessica shared that they have chosen to name their daughter Bowie Ella Richardson. “Added a little special sweetness to our family and some new directions to our journey,” Jessica shared in her announcement post.

The new mom reflected further on this new journey with admiration. “This journey with Brad and Lexi has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. To then create a human that is absolutely perfect in our eyes and put a feeling in my heart I didn’t know existed is beyond words. I have all the feels and she is really something special.”

Brad, hockey player for the Nashville Predators, shares a daughter named Lexi with his first wife, actress Lauren Hunt. Brad and Lauren divorced shortly before his relationship with Jessica went public in March of 2019. Jessica shared a cute picture of the two of them hugging after one of his games with the caption “When your man gets 4 goals… nbd!” Brad is not active on any social media platforms, though he does have a private Instagram account.

Congratulations to Jessica and Brad on growing their family! We wish them all the best as they settle into life as parents to Bowie.
