Actress Anne Hathaway made an exciting announcement on Instagram today! She expecting her second child! Anne brought the announcement with an adorable baby bump pic and shared that “It’s not for a movie…”
Following her cheeky caption was a more serious note to all women. Anne kindly writes: “All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love.” It appears Anne is hinting at some of her own struggles with infertility. She may very well have experienced what many women suffering infertility have felt when they see a pregnancy announcement. Always keeping it classy – just another reason to love Anne!
Anne gave birth to her first child, a son named Jonathan Rosebanks, with husband Adam Shulman in 2016. It wasn’t until nearly a year after his birth that Anne shared a picture of her firstborn. Hathaway shared a shot of Jonathan from the back of his head as he propped himself up on an ottoman in front of a computer and watched his famous mom speak at the United Nations in support of paid parental leave.
Anne married Adam Shulman, actor and jewelry designer, in 2012 after nearly four years of dating. Anne looked quite royal that September day she married Adam at the natural, scenic Big Sur on the California coast. Her fairytale finally came true! She has recently said of her husband, “He changed my ability to be in the world comfortably”. This couple seems like wonderful parents and are surely excited to welcome another bundle of joy into the family.
