I have a white friend who has a stereotypically black name, and I know that it has brought up similar issues for her. Sad and interesting.

I find it extremely disturbing that, as a white person, I may think racism in England is quite rare, but that this could be simply because people are less open about it and I'm not someone who's going to experience it directly.
