My daughter has a class mate named Edge. She said he showed her his transcript and his full name was Edgetron. The only thing I can find on that name is a city in Ohio.

I think it's interesting!

It's nms.... Something about the spelling, it just seems a little "off" to me.

Reminds me of the football player Edgerrin James ("Edge").

I think the city in Ohio is Edgerton -- the google references were probably typos! I'm so curious about this name, but Miranda's not close enough to the guy to ask him :)

Sounds like a name for a robot, imo. Edge could be a cool nn, but it reminds me too much of the wrestler.

Ditto Payna, sounds like a robot's name to me. The nn Edge is kinda cool though.

My first thought was that it sounds like an electronics company, or something high-tech. My second thought was to wonder if there's a typo on the transcript and the student's name is really Edgerton.

I guess you could say it's an edgy name.

I thought robot or techno-something right away too!

Could it be Scandinavian or Germanic in some way? I swear Tron sounds like a name element I've heard before, but I'm also reading an Icelandic saga right now so probably everything sounds good to me.
