For those of you who might be interested, the Swedish government has put up the top 100 names given babies born there in 2007:

I think it's fascinating that William and Wilma are now the top names in Sweden. William because it is so common in the South in the USA, the part of the US that has a culture I think would be the LEAST like Swedish culture; Wilma because its image in the USA would still be so negative at the moment. Of course, in Swedish "w" is pronounced like the English "V", and I think Vilma would sound a bit better than Wilma to modern Americans.
