Any opinions on Lyle? It's one of my guilty pleasure names...the association (hill-billy maybe??) bothers me, although the Lyle Lovett association does not bother me at all since I love him and his music. I love it, but I'm not sure I could convince SO or anyone else to like it so much...

I like it, but obviously with a Miles already it's not a name I could ever use.

I don't really think of Lyle Lovett - I think of Lyle's Golden Syrup! Lyle would still be very much an old-fashioned name here.

I like it! I actually think of the crazy cat in Howliday Inn. :haha: Those were some of my favorite books as a kid.

I only know one Lyle, and she's a female .. She has made me forget the Lyle Lovvett association, and the name very much suits her, but it's still just really awkward-sounding to me. I don't like it much.
