WDYT? Big sister Anna is in Eli's kinder class. Can't remember the big brother's name. They're of Swedish descent (baby's grandparents, parents born here).

Very different than Anna in pop here in the states at least. It says it is a form of Sigrid - prefer Siri. It is kind of neat. Not sure I am pronouncing it correctly.

Like Suri with an ear sound in the beginning. SEAR-ee basically. I like it. It's not really my style, but I find it very appealing. She wasn't named for like a week, btw! lol

That is how I was pronouncing it! I like it, it could grow on me definitely. I have a thing for sear/sare names. Saoirse, Seren etc

Cool! I like Siri - I used to have a boss named Siri, and her mom was Indian so I always assumed it was maybe an Indian name, but maybe not!

I absolutely love the name! Remember a BNer back in the day had a baby daughter with this name - that was when I first heard of it and just loved it.

I like Sari too - we have family friends with a Sari (my age). And Suri. I guess I'm all over the short-s-name-ending-in-i.
