I met an adorable little girl today (first grader, so about 6 years old) named Paget. It's pronounced PAH-jit, like "pageant" without the "n." I asked her what her mn was: Paget Maya.

Thoughts? At first it sounded super odd to my ears, but now I kinda like it!

NMSAA, sorry.

I like Maya though :)

I know of some people with the last name Paget, so I wonder if it was a family surname. It's nms either way. Maya is nice though.

Paget is nrms but I do think that the combo flows quite well. I agree that the sound of Paget is a bit off at first.

It's interesting, but NMS. Thanks for sharing!

It seems more like a male name to me, I guess since I've only heard it as a surname.

NMS. I keep trying to think of where I've heard of it - like as a famous person, or a famous surname from history? I just can't place it!

Kalee, if you watch Criminal Minds, that's where you've heard it from. She's the brunette on the show :)
I kinda like it, but it's not necessarily one I would use. It's definitely cute, but it hasn't caught on in my name book yet ;)

It's also the name of an actress who was on Friends (she played Cathy, Chandler's girlfriend). I like the look of it more than I like the sound.

Cute! A nice alternative to Paige. :)

I must say, I like it. Whenever I see the name Paige, I always think of Paget.
