Looking for best/favorite spelling of KAY-lin

So DH & I are watching a show called Legend of The Seeker and the main female character is named Kahlan (prn. KAY-lin).

I'm starting to really like this name more and more. Not sure if I'd actually use it though. I'm interested in everyone's best/favorite spelling of the name. So far I have these:

Kaelyn (probably my favorite spelling right now)
Kaelin
Kailyn
Kailynn
Kaylin
Kaylyn
Kaylynn

etc etc... you get the point. ;)
So what is your favorite spelling of the name KAY-lin? I do like spellings that at least look kind of normal. Thanks for the help everyone! :)

ETA: Forgot to mention I went to school with a girl named Kahlen, pron. the same.

I like the simlicity and straightforwardness of Kaylin, but like the look of Kaelin the best.

There was a girl on America's Next Top Model named "Kay-lin" but she spelled it, I believe, Kahlin or Kahlen. That never made sense to me with the "ah" in the middle.

My favorite is Cailin. I knew someone with this spelling and really like it.

Kaylen is nice, too & I like the look of that with Ethan.

I think probably Kaelyn would be the one I would most likely use of those.

I like Kalen but it seems masculine and I think with an 'i' people will misread it as Kaitlyn.

I would spell it Kaylin. It's straightforward and easy to pronounce upon seeing it. So there would be a little less explaining to do than you'd have with some of the other possible spellings.

Kalen, I would actually lean towards saying it "Callan", like my name's first syllable.

I agree that the Kahlen/Kahlin spelling doesn't make much sense phonetically. I am at a school where there are two girls who both spell it Kalin. I feel about the same way about that as Kahlen/Kahlin.

Ditto, only I prefer Kaylyn with two 'y's because I have a great association with it- one of my best friend's names.
