Tiffani Thiessen and her husband, actor Brady Smith, have taken the official plunge into parenthood! The couple welcomed daughter Harper Renn Smith today. Harper weighed in at 8 pounds, 3 ounces. Hopefully, Thiessen — who’s an alumna of Saved By the Bell and Beverly Hills, 90210 — will have plenty of time to spend with Harper before her current series, White Collar, debuts its second season on July 13th.
The former Saved By the Bell star and her husband, Brady Smith, recently opened their home for a baby shower for their soon-to-be first (due in May). Thiessen has said she and her husband plan to try hypnobirth for the delivery, but she also told PEOPLE that they’re “very, very open to however the child is supposed to come out.” Thiessen stars in White Collar, while Smith has kept busy with appearances in CSI, Castle and The Mentalist.
Don’t expect Tiffani Thiessen to use an out-there name like Bronx, Apple or Banjo for her little one.
“We’re very traditional,” said the mommy-to-be, who’s already working on baby name lists with hubby Brady Smith. She said the couple isn’t planning on using any “freaky names.”
They’re not sharing their short list, so looks like we’ll have to wait until May to find out their pick.
According to the Star, Saved by the Bell and Beverly Hills 90210 alum Tiffani Thiessen is finally getting her wish to become a mother. A source close to the actress says that Thiessen and hubby Brady Smith are “over the moon” at the prospect of being parents, but are keeping mum for now, as she’s in the early stages of pregnancy. She apparently has been visiting a fertility center in Los Angeles, with excellent results.
