Does two make it an Olympic baby boom? Last week, Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard welcomed son Blaise Ray. This week, former Olympic gymnast Shannon Miller welcomed her second baby! Olympian gold medalist Shannon Miller believes in miracles! The former gymnast and her husband John Falconetti recently announced that they're expecting their second baby, one they've called their miracle baby. In 2011, the couple had hoped to give their son Rocco (now 3) a brother or sister, but Miller learned that she had ovarian cancer. After surgery to remove her left ovary, Miller underwent nine weeks of chemotherapy. "Our baby plans were put on hold indefinitely," Miller shared in a statement through her Shannon Miller Lifestyle. Indefinitely didn't turn out to be never, though, as the couple are expecting their second baby this summer!
“Home with our new baby! 7 lbs., 11 oz of cuteness!," Miller announced via Twitter on Friday. She also told Inside Gymnastics that she and hubby John Falconetti “feel so blessed and are excited to begin this new adventure!”
So, how long before baby John goes from rolling over to back flips?
