Grey’s Anatomy star Sarah Drew has more late night calls in her future! The actress and her husband Peter Lanfer recently announced that they’re expecting their second baby. Another Grey’s Anatomy baby has arrived! Actress Sarah Drew, known for her role as Dr. April Kepner on Grey’s, and her husband Peter Lanfer welcomed their first baby on January 18th. Grey’s Anatomy is going for another round on the maternity ward. Grey’s actress Jessica Capshaw announced today via Twitter that she and husband Christopher Gavigan are expecting their third baby. Capshaw’s baby joins older siblings Eve Augusta (14 months) and Luke Hudson (4 years old).
With the arrival of their baby getting closer and closer, Grey’s Anatomy star Sarah Drew and her husband, Peter Lanfer, recently celebrated a baby shower. The couple, who are expecting their baby in January, joined family and friends at Drew’s aunt’s LA home. They’re no doubt all prepared for when baby — boy or girl (the couple have chosen to wait to find out!) — makes his or her grand debut.
And the baby boom on the Grey’s Anatomy set continues! It all began back in 2009 when star Chyler Leigh welcomed daughter Anniston in May. Since then, four more babies have been added by Ellen Pompeo, Katherine Heigl (during her Grey’s stint), Eric Dane and Jessica Capshaw. Now Sarah Drew is adding to the baby boom! A rep for the actress confirmed that she and husband Peter Lanfer are expecting their first in January. No word yet on whether they’ll be welcoming a son or a daughter.
