Olympian Amanda Beard is tackling a tough routine again: the sleepless nights with a new baby! The swimmer and her husband Sacha Brown welcomed their second baby, daughter Doone Isla Brown, on June 19th. “I have to say the lack of sleep thing is a difficult as I remembered,” Beard wrote on her blog when announcing the happy news, “but overall my experience this time around is much more relaxed.” First-time around would have been the couple’s 3.5-year-old son, Blaise Ray.

Beard confirmed to People that the couple’s 3-year-old son Blaise Ray is looking forward to the arrival of his baby sister or brother. “He’s so excited,” she said, “He keeps telling me how he is going to hug and kiss the baby and help me take care of [him or her] … We will see if that actually happens!”
The Olympic medalist and her husband, photographer Sacha Brown, met Blaise Ray Brown for the first time on September 15th. Blaise weighed in at 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 19-inches long.
Beard has been keeping fans updated with news of the baby and how she’s adjusting; baby pics were recently uploaded to her Facebook page, and she recently Tweeted that it’s “so fun being a mommy!”
