It’s about to be double the fun in the Cook-Gillies household! Rachael Leigh Cook has announced that she and husband Daniel Gillies, of The Originals and Saving Hope, are expecting their second baby. A rep for the Perception actress released a statement in which the couple shared, “We’re as happy as we were surprised by this wonderful news! We haven’t slept since 2013 and welcome advice from all parents who survived Two Under Two.” The couple are also parents to 15-month-old daughter Charlotte Easton.

Rachael Leigh Cook has a whole new outlook on life! The Perception actress and her husband, The Vampire Diaries star Daniel Gillies, have welcomed their first baby, a daughter. Gillies took to Twitter to share the happy news, tweeting, “it’s a girl. the tiny new empress of my everything. she’s immaculate. we’re delirious.”

The actress and her husband Daniel Gillies (of CW’s The Originals) recently confirmed to Us Weekly that they’re expecting their first baby this fall. Baby-to-be isn’t the only joint project the couple is working on: they co-star in Broken Kingdom, which will premiere on Showtime later this month.
