Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard is expecting great things again! The seven-time medalist and her husband Sacha Brown are expecting their second baby. Beard confirmed to People that the couple’s 3-year-old son Blaise Ray is looking forward to the arrival of his baby sister or brother. “He’s so excited,” she said, “He keeps telling me how he is going to hug and kiss the baby and help me take care of [him or her] … We will see if that actually happens!”
For Olympian Kerri Walsh Jennings, good things come in threes! The beach volleyball athlete and her partner Misti May-Treanor have won three Olympic gold medals, and they were working on that last medal while Walsh Jennings was discovering that she was pregnant with her third baby! Walsh Jennings announced the news that she and husband Casey Jennings are expecting their third baby — due April 9th — on The Today Show. The couple are already parents to two boys: 3-year-old Joseph Michael and 2-year-old Sundance Thomas.
The Olympics may be making big news in England, but British singer Mark Owen has an entirely different headline in his life. The Take That singer and his wife Emma Ferguson welcomed their third baby together! Daughter Fox India was born July 24th and weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce. Baby girl’s arrival was announced via the Take That twitter feed, “Mark, Emma, Elwood and Willow are delighted to announce the arrival to the clan of their beautiful new baby girl Fox India Owen…” Elwood and Willow are the couple’s two older children, ages 6 and 4 respectively.
Swimmer Brendan Hansen is determined to make these Olympics the best ever — one way or another! Hansen recently announced that he and his wife Martha are expecting their first, tweeting, “Hope the worlds ready for a lil Hansen runnin around!” The athlete also told the New York Times that they were supposed to learn the sex of the baby on Thursday; according to Hansen, the doctor was to write the sex on a card, seal it in the envelop, and the couple will open the envelop after Hansen has finished his last Olympic swim. But Hansen also admits that the couple usually opens their Christmas presents early, so we may find out sooner rather than later if the couple is expecting a son or a daughter!
Olympic gold medalist Megan Jendrick is hoping the future will keep going swimmingly! The athlete and her husband Nathan Jendrick welcomed a baby on October 19th. Son Daethan is the first baby for the couple.
Olympian Kerri Walsh has a pretty good Olympic track record: two gold medals in beach volleyball is something to brag about! But Walsh and her husband, Casey Jennings, have something a little more special to brag about these days: another baby boy! The couple welcomed their second son, Sundance, on Wednesday, May 19th. According to PEOPLE, Sundance weighed in at 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 19.75 inches long. Big brother Joseph Michael should be all smiles, as well. He’ll turn 1 on Saturday the 22nd!

• Despite the rumors swirling to the contrary, Angelina Jolie cleared up her intentions to CNN during a recent visit to earthquake-stricken Haiti. Adopting a Haitian child was not in the plans, although she and Brad are “always open to children.”
• NASCAR drivers have racing to the delivery room these days, and Elliott Sadler is the latest to join the fray. He and wife Amanda welcomed Wyatt Herman Fritts Sadler on February 15th, a few weeks before his scheduled due date.
• Albert Pujols, who’s the first baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals, and his wife Deidre evened up their brood this month with the arrival of Ezra on the 5th. The Pujols are also parents to Isabella, Alberto Jr. and Sophia.
• French ice dancer Isabelle Delobel is tackling quite a few challenges these days. In addition to competing in this month’s Winter Olympics (she and partner Olivier Schoenfelder were in 6th place after the Compulsory Dance and have yet to take the ice tonight), she’s also adapting to being a new mom! Delobel and her husband, Ludovic Roux, welcomed Loic on October 1st. Delobel was back on the ice training in earnest on October 26th.
For most new moms, getting back in pre-baby shape can take months, even years. But Olympian Isabelle Delobel had a deadline: 4.5 months. That’s how long the French ice dancer had between the birth of her first child and the beginning of this year’s winter Olympics. Delobel and her husband, Ludovic Roux, welcomed their son Loic on October 1, 2009. Delobel, who had continued skating throughout her pregnancy, resumed rigorous training and practice on October 26th. The Vancouver Olympics are the third for Delobel and her partner Olivier Schoenfelder; the couple finished 16th in Salt Lake and 4th in Torino. After last night’s Compulsory Dance, the couple are in 6th place.
The beach volleyball star, whose son Joseph Michael was born in May of this year, is already pregnant with her second! Kerri Walsh and her husband, Casey Jennings, are expecting their second baby on May 30th. The two-time Olympic gold medalist is planning to dive back into training once baby #2 is born so she and volleyball partner Misty May-Treanor can team up in search of a third gold medal in 2012′s Olympic games.
