Actor Henry Cavill is going to be a dad! The Man of Steel star confirmed that he and his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso are expecting their first baby together. “I’m very excited about it.”

Henry confirmed the news during the New York premiere of his film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare in an interview with Access Hollywood. The reported asked the Argylle star about taking on fatherhood to which he replied, “I’m very excited about it. Natalie and I are both very excited about it. I’m sure you’ll see much more of that.”

The questions of fatherhood from the reporter were prompted by a photo taken of the couple the previous night. Henry and Natalie were spotted in New York City on April 14th and the Vertigo Entertainment producer wore a fitted black dress that hugged her growing baby bump. The couple first started romance rumors after the two were captured taking a stroll while holding hands in April 2021. The actor confirmed the news in an Instagram post not long after that showed the couple playing chess. “This is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie, destroys me at chess,” he wrote in the caption.

In addition to their romantic relationship, the couple work together in a professional capacity. Henry and Natalie worked together to ring a Warhammer 40,000 adaptation to the big screen. The actor wrote on Instagram at the time, “For 30 years I have dreamt of seeing a Warhammer universe in live action. Now, after 22 years of experience in this industry, I finally feel that I have the skill set and experience to guide a Warhammer Cinematic Universe into life. Partnering with Natalie Viscuso at Vertigo has been a blessing beyond words, without her we might not have found the perfect home at Amazon.”

Congratulations to Henry and Natalie on the news of their first baby!
