Country music fans who tuned in to last night’s CMA show got a little more than a musical feast — they also got the scoop! Presenters Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood let slip that Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher are expecting a son! Whether the reveal was planned or a slip of the tongue (I’m voting planned!), the news is out. Baby news wasn’t the only reveal of the evening for Underwood, though. She also debuted the music video for her song “Must Be Something in the Water” after the awards show. The song is off her upcoming album, “Greatest Hits: Decade #1,” which will be available in December.
Carrie Underwood celebrated Labor Day this year by sharing some big news: she and husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first! The singer shared the happy news via a cute pic of the couple’s pups, each wearing an “I’m Going to Be a Big Brother” and “I’m Going to Be a Big Sister” T-shirts, captioned, “In honor of “Labor” Day…Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn’t be happier!”
Nope, no babies are on the way for country singer Carrie Underwood. But she did talk about how many she and husband Mike Fisher might have one day, US Weekly is reporting. While Underwood says she thinks two is a good number, she says Fisher is leaning toward more — around 7! Regardless of the number, Underwood is reported as saying that Fisher is going to be the “best dad ever,” so their kids have a lot to look forward to!
