After growing up in an all-boy family, Jerry O'Connell confesses in a recent PEOPLE interview that he initially thought putting daughters Charlie Tamara Tulip and Dolly Rebecca Rose in cute dresses was impractical. "They're going to poop and throw up in it anyway."
Now, however, O'Connell has come to the dark side. In addition to dressing them up, the actor also styles their hair (pig-tails and barretts) and lives to make his babies laugh. "There's no better feeling than making your little girls laugh," he said.
O'Connell's been staying home with the eight-month-old fraternal twins while wife Rebecca Romijn is working on her ABC show Eastwick. The couple has committed to having one parent with the girls at all times.
While O'Connell is enjoying fatherhood, the couple has decided that two is enough!
Like any proud papa, Jerry O’Connell couldn't resist showing off pictures of his twin daughters, Dolly and Charlie, on Live with Regis and Kelly on Friday. He and wife Rebecca Romijn welcomed the newest additions to their family in late December, and O'Connell says he's learned a lot about parenting in just two and-a-half weeks, including how to change diapers. He says he loves having twins:
These are my first kids and Rebecca’s first kids, and you can’t imagine just having one. It’s so much fun to have two of them. You throw them in the crib and they just play with each other.
Rebecca Romijn and hubby Jerry O'Connell have confirmed the arrival of healthy twin girls. Daughters Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip were born Dec. 28, and a rep for the actress said "mother, father and both girls are all home and doing well."
The couple married in 2007.
According to shock jock Howard Stern, Rebecca Romijn has given birth to twin daughters! Stern announced the births on his show this morning, but the news has yet to be confirmed by Romijn or her husband, Jerry O'Connell. Stay tuned...
