There’s another Backstreet Boy coming our way! Boy band singer Howie Dorough recently announced that he and his wife Leigh are expecting their second baby. This baby — a boy — will be the second son for the couple, who are also parents to 3-year-old James Hoke. The singer opted to share his good news the same week as his birthday, tweeting, “Thanks to family, friends & fans for all the amazing birthday wishes. This year I’m receiving the best gift from my wife another baby boy!”
Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough and his wife Leigh have announced that they are expecting their first child together. Dorough told PEOPLE, “I know she’s going to be a great mother. If she can take care of me, the biggest baby in the entire world, I think she’s going to be okay with the little one coming along.”
The couple married in 2007 and have enjoyed traveling together before settling down to start a family. They are waiting until birth to find out the baby’s gender and are eager to put together a gender-neutral nursery. Their new arrival will have plenty of playmates–Dorough’s bandmates Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson both have young sons.
