Actor Tim Allen and his wife Jane are the proud parents of a baby girl!  Daughter Elizabeth was born this weekend in Los Angeles and weighed in at five pounds, thirteen ounces.  A statement from the couple said they are “thrilled” about their latest arrival and that all are “doing well.”  Allen has a daughter, Katherine, from a previous marriage.

There are almost enough Spice Girl babies for a new band!   “Sporty Spice” Melanie Chisholm gave birth to a daughter, Scarlet Starr, this past  Saturday in London.  The newest little star weighed eight pounds, three ounces and was pronounced “beautiful” by her adoring mother.  She is the first child for Chisholm and her partner of six years, property developer Thomas Starr.

Constance Marie is finally a mom!  The 43 year-old actress gave birth to daughter Luna Marie on February 5th in Santa Monica.  Little Luna weighed eight pounds, thirteen ounces.  The actress joked that all of her years playing a mom made her decide to be one in “real life.”  This is the first child for Marie and her hubby, yoga instructor Kent Katich.

KISS star Paul Stanley has a new woman in his life!  Daughter Sarah Brianna was born on January 28 and weighed a healthy eight pounds.  Stanley and wife Erin, who married in 2005, also have a two year-old son, Colin Michael.

Never one for the conventional, Erykah Badu has chosen yet another unusual name for her latest addition.  The singer revealed that she has named her newborn daughter Mars Merkaba.  Mars joins big sibs Seven and Puma, children from Badu’s previous relationships.

Erykah Badu welcomed her first child with boyfriend Jay Electronica yesterday.   Their daughter was born naturally at home at “exactly” 1:30 pm, and the couple kept their fans updated via Twitter.  The new daddy-to-be said it was the “happiest” day of his life.

Badu has two other children–eleven year-old Seven and four year-old daughter Puma–from previous relationships.

After leaving their fans in suspense for over a week, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have finally released the name of their newborn daughter: Seraphina Rose Elizabeth.  She was welcomed home by big sis Violet, who is three.

In better late than never news, Philip Seymour Hoffman revealed that his newest daughter’s name is Willa.  His partner, Mimi O’Donnell, gave birth to Willa in October.  The couple have two other children, Cooper Alexander, 5, and Tallulah, 23 months.
