Songstress Alicia Keys has been keeping busy. In addition to welcoming her first child — son Egypt — last year with husband Swizz Beatz, she rereleased her album Songs in A Minor, did a brief promotional tour and is set to open Stick Fly, a Broadway musical she’s co-producing, in December. And on top of all that, she’s also fanning the flames of a new baby rumor. Keys stepped out at a recent charity event looking as though she may be sporting a baby bump! No one has made an official comment on the apparent bump, but it shouldn’t take too long before we’ll know for sure soon!
Alicia Keys is singing the blues, but they’re mighty happy blues! Keys and her husband, Kasseem Dean (aka, Swizz Beatz), welcomed their baby — a boy — yesterday. Egypt Daoud Dean is the first child for the couple, but he’s the fourth for Dean.
While former first daughter Chelsea Clinton was stealing the spotlight over the weekend, singer-songwriter Alicia Keys tied the knot with producer Swizz Beatz in a low-key ceremony on the Mediterranean. Only close friends and family were in attendance, and the bride showed off her baby bump in a Grecian-inspired Vera Wang dress. The newlyweds will welcome their first child later this year.
During a recent trip to South Africa, mommy-to-be Alicia Keys and her fiance Swizz Beatz had both their union and their soon-to-be-baby blessed in a traditional ceremony. The two-hour ritual was attended by Key’s mother and brother (Terri Augello and Cole Cook), as well as staffers from the BobbiBear, a child abuse prevention organization supported by Keys’ Keep a Child Alive Foundation.
Recent photos of Alicia Keys have fueled rumors that she may be expecting more than a good year, and a rep for the singer has recently confirmed that yes, Keys is expecting her first child! In fact, Keys and her boyfriend, music producer Swizz Beatz (who’s birth name is Kasseem Dean), are engaged and planning their wedding for later this year. Dean has two other children: Prince Nasir, from a previous relationship, and 3-year-old Kasseem Jr. with ex-wife Mashonda Tifrere.
It’s a good thing Robin Thicke has been practicing his vocals during this year’s Freedom Tour with Alicia Keys, because he’s just welcomed his most important critic! According to PEOPLE, Thicke and his wife, Paula Patton, welcomed their first child yesterday. Julian Fuego was originally scheduled to make his big debut in May, but he apparently felt like upstaging Daddy!
