Charles Kelley, of country trio Lady Antebellum, and his wife Cassie just announced that they are expecting their first child together. In a joyful blog on Cassie’s lifestyle blog “Womanista,” the mom-to-be wrote, Charles and I are SO BEYOND EXCITED to share with y’all that we are expecting a baby! He or she is due in February and we are so happy we can hardly stand it.”
Cassie went on to share in her blog that the couple had struggled with infertility for a majority of their six-year marriage, eventually hearing from a doctor that they had “about a 1% chance of conceiving a child naturally.” She credited her musician husband for keeping hope alive and having faith that they would someday meet their future children, sharing that they had decided to regroup in the fall and use the summer to shake off what she called “the weight of trying to become parents.” Of course, that is just when their miracle happened. She wrote, “Our baby decided to join our family in God’s time, which is always right.”
She ended her post with words for those who are also TTC – “My prayer is that if you are struggling with trying to conceive a child, you will remain hopeful. I pray that you will trust God to make a way where there isn’t a way…I pray that you will become a mom.”

Baby Kelley will have plenty of playmates on future Lady Antebellum tours; he or she will join Dave Haywood’s son Cash, 11 months, and Hillary Scott’s daughter Eisele, 2.
