As Dean Winchester in the CW drama Supernatural, actor Jensen Ackles has faced plenty of tough situations. After that, fatherhood will seem like a breeze! The actor and his wife, actress Danneel Harris, are expecting their first. Beyond confirming the happy news, the couple hasn’t shared many additional details, although Harris did take to Twitter to thank all for the congratulations. “Thank you for all the well wishes,” she said. “We are very excited about our soon to be new addition.”
The future is looking mighty rosy for Dominic Zamprogna! The General Hospital actor and his wife Linda Leslie welcomed their second baby — another daughter — on December 30th. Baby Eliana joins big sis Anbilliene (2), and Zamprogna has said the two are already “competing for attention!”
There’s another baby on the way for Amar’e Stoudemire and his wife Alexis! This baby will be the fourth for Studemire, who plays for the New York Knicks, and Alexis. The couple are already parents to Ar’e (7), Amar’e Jr. (6) and Assata (4). “We’re blessed that we were able to extend our family,” Stoudemire said in an interview. No word yet on whether they’re expecting a son or a daughter, but Alexis said its siblings are very excited to find out!
It’s a girl for Falling Skies star Moon Bloodgood! The actress and her husband Grady Hall welcomed their first baby in December. Daughter Pepper, who was a delivery room surprise, was born on December 15th. In an interview with KoreAm while she was five months pregnant, Bloodgood said, “I’ve never been happier. … I think it’s the hormones or something because I feel fantastic. I feel truly like I have purpose, and that purpose is not about me.”
Eli Young Band bassist Jon Jones expected to become a dad on Christmas. But baby boy was aiming for another holiday instead! Jones and his wife Sarah welcomed son Hudson Lennon Jones on December 31st — New Year’s Eve. Despite his delayed appearance, Hudson’s birth went smoothly, and the family were home in time to ring in the new year together.
American Idol alum Kris Allen has some big news to start of his new year — some really good, and some not so good! Starting off with the bad: Allen and his wife Katy were involved in a car accident that resulted in a broken arm for Allen. The good news, however, is that — broken arm aside — Allen, Katy and their soon-to-be baby (!) are all OK. Allen confirmed the happy news on Twitter, saying, “Yes I got in a really bad wreck tonight and yes I’m having a lil baby. #gonnabeadaddy.” The singer also assured fans that his Out Alive tour is still on, broken arm or no!
Glee creator Ryan Murphy has something to sing about! Murphy took to Twitter to share the news that son Logan Phineas Miller Murphy has arrived and is doing well. “Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes. Logan is one week old and doing great. Happy new year!” Logan is the first son for Murphy and husband David Miller.
There’s another Kardashian on the way! This time, sister Kim Kardashian is the momma-to-be. The big news broke when Kim’s boyfriend Kanye West asked his Atlantic City crowd to give some love to his “baby mama.” Kardashian, whose divorce from Kris Humphries is still pending, confirmed the news on her web site, saying, “It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us.” Beyond confirming the happy news, though, the couple haven’t shared any additional details. Guess we’ll have to see what the new year brings!

Livingston Alves McConaughey, who weighed in at 9 pounds and 21 inches, has big brother Levi (4) and big sister Vida (2) to pal around with while dad is working on his latest film, The Dallas Buyer’s Club.
Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill has his own little princess! The musician and his wife Jessie Baylin welcomed their first baby, daughter Violet Marlowe Followill, on December 26th. Followill took to Twitter to share his happy news, saying, “I can proudly announce the birth of my sweet angel Violet Marlowe Followill. My heart has been stollen and it feels so good.” The band isn’t scheduled to begin touring until June, so Followill should have plenty of time to get used to the newest lady in his life.
