Dirty diapers, midnight feedings … Emily Rose has her own set of “Troubles” to adjust to these days, but they’re very welcome ones! The Haven actress and her husband Dairek Morgan recently welcomed their first baby — a son. Rose announced the happy news via Twitter on Tuesday, April 30th, sharing, “Today I was #blessed to start my role as MaMa, Miles Christian Morgan made us 3!! We are so happy 2b chosen 2b his parents, God is sweet!”
Alfonso Ribeiro is getting ready to reprise a familiar role. No, Fresh Prince of Bel Air isn’t getting a modern spin; the Carlton actor is getting ready to be a dad! Ribeiro and his wife Angela Unkrich announced that they are expecting their first child together. Ribeiro may need to brush up on his parenting lines though: daughter Sienna — with ex-wife Robin Stapler — is already 9!
It’s another boy for model mama Eva Herzigova! Herzigova and her boyfriend Gregorio Marsiaj have welcomed their third son, named Edward. Edward joins big brothers George (5) and Philipe (2) in completing the couple’s trio of boys. Bet that gets to be a busy household!
Babies of her own may not be in the cards just yet, but Lady Gaga is reprising a familiar role: godmother! Elton John and his husband David Furnish have asked Gaga to be godmother to their newest addition: 3-month-old son Elijah. “She’s a great role model,” John told Extra of the family’s pick, “she’s young, she’s been a great godmother to Zachary.” Zachary is the couple’s 2-year-old son. Sounds like godmother is a role Gaga was born to play!
Peaches Geldof, daughter of Boomtown Rats musician Bob Geldof, is anything but blue over the arrival of her second son! Geldof and her husband, Thomas Cohen, welcomed Phaedra Cohen on April 24th. Phaedra arrived via C-section to honor Geldof’s late mother, Paula Yates, whose birthday was also April 24th. “My new little man is so sweet, he loves being swaddled so much and looks so happy like a tiny burrito baby wrapped up in it!” Geldof shared about her newest baby via Twitter. Phaedra will have not-so-big brother Astala Dylan Willow (who turned one earlier this month) to help him keep mom and dad busy!
Ian Ziering has another lady in his life, and he will have no troubles remembering her birthday! The 90210 alum and his wife Erin welcomed daughter Penna Mae Ziering on April 25th, the same day her older sister, 2-year-old Mia Loren, was born! Ziering tells People that the shared birthday wasn’t planned: Mia was a week late, and Penna was a week early. Ziering will soon have even more women in his life: the actor is scheduled to perform a brief stint with Chippendales this June in Las Vegas.
Vince Vaughn is spilling the beans on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (airing Monday)! The actor shared that he and wife Kyla are expecting their second baby this summer (August 5th, actually). “This is the first time I’ve said anything,” Vaughn said, “We’re very excited …” He may have shared the big news, but he’s keeping a few details to himself: we don’t know yet whether the couple’s 2-year-old daughter Locklyn Kyla can expect a baby brother or sister. Vaughn has another project coming up this summer: his movie The Internship opens this June.
Dierks Bentley is expanding his Home again! The country singer took to Twitter to announce the happy news that he and wife Cassidy are expecting their third baby. Baby will have big sisters Evalyn Day (4.5) and Catherine (2) to look up to. Bentley has a few show dates this month and next, but the future may be open — just in time to get ready for the newest arrival!
Poppy Montgomery is seeing pink! The Unforgettable star and her boyfriend Shawn Sanford welcomed their first baby together — and it’s a girl! Daughter Violet Grace Devereux Sanford arrived on April 22nd. Montgomery also has a son, 5-year-old Jackson, from a previous relationship. Montgomery will have a few months to adjust to her newly expanded family before Unforgettable begins its new season this summer.
After parenting four daughters — three (Emma, Lily and Ruth) from a previous marriage and one (India Pearl) with wife Georgina Chapman — Harvey Weinstein has given up a lot of sports for shopping. That’s what he says in a recent interview with CBS’ This Morning, at least! The movie producer is hoping that the arrival of his first son, born April 11th, will maybe get him away from shopping, though, and home for the games. Although even baby boy’s name is a tribute to the lady in Weinstein’s life: Weinstein said their son’s name — Dashiell — was inspired by Weinstein and Chapman’s first date, which reminded Weinstein of Dashiell Hammett‘s The Thin Man.
